Danny,
I have two questions for you. One, when you choose your tricks for the client, are they self working so you can concentrate on the presentation or are they knuckle busters? Two, what type of performing surface do you use? On your website I saw a table in the pics and was curious about it. Lou

Hi Lou:
My tricks are not at all "self-working." But they are hardly knuckle-busters either. I outline them in my corporate magic lecture notes in more detail. The six routines that I do in 12 minutes or so are as follows, in this order: David Solomon's Cig Thru Card (but not using a cigarette) Signed Card in the Globe (GlobalCard) OmniDeck Hundy 500 with seven $100 bills and torn corner convincer as outlined in my lecture notes Sponge Balls PsychoKinetic Time (Banachek) The table that you may have seen (I have 3 of them which leapfrog around the country as I go from show to show) may have a custom made close-up pad cut to the exact size of the tabletop. It is made by PATTRICK (two T's) who does the best customized pads in the world. |

Hi Danny, do you use the same scripting just changed for each company or totally new scripts each show.
Best

Hello again, Steven:
Excellent scripting question. Most trade show magicians have a "bank" of scripts for a variety of magic tricks with positions within each script for a one or two-sentence message that ties into the marketing strategy of the client. My entire show is a template with places for the corporate message to be inserted. The message changes for each client. Occasionally, a totally customized routine will be created for a client depending upon their marketing manager's goals and the products or services that needs to be emphasized. |
