I am currently looking for The Jinx Original Issues 10,14,19,22,38,39,42,43,47,72,87,114 and season extra issues to complete my collection set.
However, during the course of looking for the issues, I came across some questions and hope someone here might be able to help me. I noted there are a couple of different versions within my collection. One being type-written Jinx and the other sort of computer-ish printed Jinx. Also, some of the issues have stamps on them, written "Most Tricks and Books mentioned in this Book can be supplied by L. Davenport & Co, 25, New Oxford Street, London, W.C.1.". Does it means that it is a re-printed issues of the original Jinx? Lastly, I noticed on some of the issues it has word stamped "2nd printing, March 1936". Are there numerous printings of the original issues of Jinx back in the day? Thank you! With Love, Perl |
