The key card in the decks I’m selling are the A/D. The decks are sealed and not collated. I collate one, then demo it until I sell it…usually 1-2 demos.
Was making a demo last Sunday to 4-5 kids and 2 adults. I mis-handled the deck and an A/D seemed to JUMP out of the deck. It really surprised me. Fortunately, it was facing me PLUS I caught it before it hit the table. I was truly surprised but acted like it was part of the demo. Finished the demo with 2 sales. I only collate the deck I demo so, I had one deck collated and one sealed. The 1st paragraph of the instructions tells how to collate but it was almost closing so I told the kid getting the sealed deck I’d collate them if he wanted. He said he did and when I finished and put them back in the box, he very shyly asked, “Can you show me how you make ‘em turn into ALL A/D and how you made that card jump out of the deck?” OOPS!! “Well, I’ll tell you what,” I said, “here is how you make ‘em all Aces.” Did the laydown, then I used Don’s cop-out, “Now…I can do tricks all day but you need to read the instructions. AND watch the video (I give ‘em a link to a You-Tube video.) “And just remember—the DECK does all the tricks!” Man—if he only knew how true THAT was!! Jon |
