Something about what Locke wrote as regards happiness seems to pertain here. Though I am simply not comfortable in forming a moral opinion about a condition to which I am not a subject. Can't talk about wearing the shoes when one is without feet.
So, what if the parents knew... the entire time ... even from before conception? Sins of the father?

With his habit and life style I would imagine if he did not have all that money he would have been a dealer...but that is only a supposition. Guess we will turn this into a Lennon good guy bad guy thing now.

Well, however you evaluate Lennon, the point is, that's a difference between Lennon and an unborn child - We know how Lennon turned out.

We know we can't know where an electron will wind up but seem all excited presuming upon what may get to the age of reason to agree with our opinions... well maybe if they also adopt our cultural values... and constraints.
Seems odd to presume that a particular person from the past models what we can expect of a hypothetical person who has yet to join their first band, write their first song or abandon their first wife and child.

It's better to abort a foetus if the parents can only offer it a s**t life. I haven't heard of aborting children.

Remember not to disassemble it, bring it into school and make sure you don't show how many people you can hit in a minute like you've been practicing in the video games and hearing about in songs.". Given the enduring art that he produced, Lennonvwould have to have been a pretty horrible person for me to value his life less than that of a random person (if I HAD to choose). I appreciate that your mileage may vary.

Whereas banning alcohol and other narcotics never seems to have the desired effect, banning handguns and automatic weapons has worked rather well here, so it isn't a conversation I'll ever need to have. Your mileage may vary.

Sounds a lot like selective choice. I believe Hitler had the same idea but that is a different topic isn't it...or is it?

Would an abortion be okay if the doctors promised to use guns?

Rifles tend to have a bit more range and penetration than your standard recurve bow.

Conveniently, there's no reliable data on the number of abortions before they were legalized. Why, they must have been as uncommon as the use of illegal drugs is now.
Also, was anybody else not remotely surprised that a pair of shooters in this recent wave making the headlines were part of Bundy's militia?

Either disipline is good for the mind and body. It is like anything else. It depends on what you do with your skill or education that matters, not what that skill or education is.
