Just came across this on Penguin:

http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/4415

A devastating pick-pocket routine used professionally by Gregory Wilson.

One of our best-selling tricks of all time has been Clutch by Oz Pearlman. Why? Because audiences LOVE pick-pocket routines.

Now, deliver a FULL pick-pocket experience with The Pickpocket Passport Wallet. Routined by Gregory Wilson for his professional show.

Easy to perform, and safe. Thanks to this special wallet, you can pick-pocket its contents, one-by-one, right in front of your audience. Cash, credit-cards, even a passport -- customize it any way you like!

PROFESSIONALS: The best thing about this routine for workers is Gregory Wilson's routine. Easier, more flexible and safer than any pick-pocket routine you've seen before. You can now use ANY spectator (no need to worry about pre-selecting based on the contents of their pockets, or how comfortable they are with their personal space). This is a safe, and devastating routine from the master of stage-cons.

This is great as I have been looking for this type of Passport Wallet. I will have to check this out. Does anyone know who makes the wallet?

Alan Wong, it says so on the tin.

This is a very clever utilisation of a very old gimmicked wallet! I can't believe I never thought of this! I can see that there is more to the wallet than we see, allowing you to seemingly remove the stuff with ease.

(I hope this post made sense)

I agree it is Alan's idea but not sure if he is also the manufacture of the wallet or he has someone making it for him.

With this wallet you should be able to perform Scotty York's routines like Escape from Bulgaria and Lee Thompson's Sticky Fingers which is an Any Time, Anywhere Pickpocket effect as well.

If you want a change of pace from using a passport/pp wallet, you could use a standard wallet of this nature, or a shogun, for cash.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

I got one of these for myself when Greg was on his UK tour a year or so ago.

It's very well made and as simple as can be to perform.

Can it be used with Back pockets if the spectator does not have a coat.

I pre-ordered this even though I know that there won't many occasions where this can be used. The spectator most definitely needs to be wearing a sport jacket or winter/fall coat. It would be kind of weird to be bumping into someone's behind LOL. Anyway, for dressy cocktail parties, weddings, and other such formal occasions this would likely play great. I'm certain that I'll be getting more use out of mine when the weather turns colder.

I think it's a great premise and can be used to validate your claim of being a master pickpocket - which is the kind of image a lot of laymen associate with us magicians anyway!

Of course they can just have it in their back pocket... What's wrong with that? You don't actually have to bump into them... You don't even have to touch then if you don't want to...

Patrick, I agree with what Gregory Wilson says on his video that if you don't bump into the spectator etc.(i.e. make it look like you are doing "something") then will play more like a magic trick than a pick-pocket routine. Surely, you could ask the spectator to place it into his back pocket but then it becomes more of a transportation-type effect.

What kind of liabilty insurance do you need?

Let's say you demo your skills at an important event. Then later a real scum picks the mark's pocket and he blames you. OUCH!! I OBJECT!!

Hey John, I don't mean any disrespect, but we cannot live in a state of what if's. I have taken a lot of watches and other items of interest over the years and never even gave it a second thought. In the US your still innocent till proven guilty. Greg does this routinely as well as the likes of Mark Raffles and others.
"The New York Papers," Mark Twain once said,"have long known that no large question is ever really settled until I have been consulted; it is the way they feel about it, and they show it by always sending to me when they get uneasy. "

Excellent routine by Greg. Saw him do it at one of the 2 lecture s he did over the last year.

As for the public liability problem, most pros. have public liability insurance as it's a requirement for some events. I only got it about 6 years ago as it was needed for a booking.

However, before this I was still taking watches & ties etc.

I have never came across a problem while doing this, and have at the present time taken over 3000 different watches from people(all given back ofcourse lol).

If the routine that Greg is selling is the same as the one I bought at the lecture then I can't see how this will be a problemas you use your own money.

Anotyher excellent release from one of the best close up entertainers of all time.

You can still bump into them, you just don't have to bump into their butt or touch it. It's not complicated to work around then not having a jacket... If anything, bring a cheap jacket with you so you can have them wear it as you explain that most pickpockets can only pickpocket a jacket pocket as it's looser.

Patrick, I thought of the same idea. If you perform it on stage why not bring a jacket? You could bring an ugly one from the Salvation Army and get some extra laughs from that alone!
