The fake passport that came with Regal's Passport says Unified States of America, which is a little better.

Jared, what's your feeling about the way the passport fits in the wallet?

With the pdf file, wouldn't it be fairly easy to change the cover.

I'm sure there must be a LEGAL reason why you cannot replicate USA Passports but honestly it's such a simple matter of partially obscuring the word "fake" with your finger during the casual display of the contents. This is truly a non-issue. As for the credit card slots, take one of your business cards, trim it to size and wedge it into the compartment. Be creative- everything can't be perfect!

I'm sure that it is a legal reason as well, but it still makes it useless... Obscuring the word "fakes" would not be as easy to do as you say even though it's possible, because the cover of the passport is out in the open when you're holding open the wallet. Look at the demo video. That's how you should be displaying the wallet, not with your hand holding onto the passport all the time and hiding part of it. Besides, I'm from Canada so I have to find something else anyway. I was just saying for Americans that it is a pretty bad passport.

As for the credit card slots, I mentioned that it was an easy fix... My point was that they didn't bother to make it properly and just sold it as is. Pretty pathetic.

The biggest, most serious issue I have with this is that the wallet does not cover enough length to hide the passport from being seen through the bulgy edges of the wallet when it's gone. I guess you could sharpie the edges of the passport to darken them. The thing is, it easily could have. Once again though, it's a manufacturing defect. The area could have been covered more but for some reason it's a little shorter at top and bottom.

Patrick, NOW I understand what you are seeing. While playing only with the wallet/passport I didn't have any angle or bulk issues. BUT after adding the credit cards and bills, the wallet does "bulge" as you describe. However, I'm not overly concerned about this because you can "tilt" the wallet backwards a bit during the display. This is not a defect with the wallet. All H..ber wallets have this exact same shortcoming. The downside however is that you cannot have somebody standing directly over you. Audience management will be the key to success. I suspect some guys will love this and others not.

Hmmm, its got 4 pages and is held together by staples.
Initial impression if I'm gonna end up working with this is buy a passport cover designed to protect the passport
for the new one, a dupe for the old one ... At best assuming the passport cover doesn't add too much bulk ... Perhaps have to remove pages from old one if its too bulky.

The other two could be recycled cause they are waste of resources, but work for rehearsal.

For those in Canada (can't speak for the U.S. stores), Dollarama has passport holders, the cover of which looks identical to an actual Canadian Passport (but in brown instead of passport blue).
They are too large to fit the wallet, but someone with minor crafting skills can surely cut them down to size and modify as necessary.

I just noticed that this Passport pdf is available for 6 other countries.
What interesting about that is the possibility of doing some kind of identity theft or Jason Bourne spy presentation.

Thinking 'out of the box'...you could substitute a birth certificate, drivers license or similar "important" documentation for the passport if you're concerned about the bulk...Even pickpocketing just the credit cards and cash looks quite impressive.

When you google passport, quite a number of images come up. You could take one of these and print it out.
Might need photoshop or other graphics programs. Print it on a heavier paper with some tooth.

Picked up some UK passport covers, it works. Had to trim and black out the edges with sharpie, but it looks much better.

Hey Guys just thought I would share something interesting. I am using the pickpocket passport wallet with the power pickpocket by Tom Burgoon and it is killer.

I'm not sure if anyone has already mentioned this, I'm surprised if they haven't BUT since nobody looks at the passport properly why don't you just borrow your partners passport.

This is what I do, simples!!

Just kidding . But yeah , you are clever . Photocopying a passport also works . Stealing one is a bad idea .

Hey Everyone,

I am super late on answering any questions about The Pickpocket Passport Wallet from last year, as I was too busy using the Pickpocket Passport Wallet in my TV, theater and corporate shows all over the world. : )

Most of the concerns were about the fake passports, which should be ZERO concern whatsoever since the "The United Fakes of America" is just an inside joke and is seen for no more than two seconds FROM PARLOUR OR STAGE. In fact, even if this effect were done close-up, which I've done numerous times, and the spectator is reading the outside cover of your passport, then I've failed you severely in offering a compelling presentation about pickpocketing.

Recently, Alan Wong slightly redesigned the leather wallet to make things more streamlined and pragmatic. And I've also improved the routine to make everything more believable and entertaining. The new version should be out any week now and if you have any questions whatsoever, don't hesitate to ask.

In fact, I feel so confident about this wallet and routine that I'm going to audition with it on America's Got Talent next year!
