So nobody has bit the bullet and purchased. Would've like to see some reviews.
"The New York Papers," Mark Twain once said,"have long known that no large question is ever really settled until I have been consulted; it is the way they feel about it, and they show it by always sending to me when they get uneasy. "

Yoooooooooo ! I can review this. I am a magic newb, for what it's worth this is what I think:
I haven't performed it because I'm still practicing. It's all slight of hand stuff with a gimmick. The gimmick is really well made and not something I would want to try to make on my own, although it's not impossible. I went to Disney a few weeks ago and in the magic shop there they sold a floating bill on palm and it was very similar. As mentioned above this one is just a deluxe better version of that. Like the Lexus of floating bill on palm gimmicks lol. The clean up is easy. You are not left super clean. Clean enough to get away with it though and it's just like ditching any gimmick I would imagine. You have to be a little crafty what happens after the trick is finished. It's sort of angley to some respect. Same comment as the above though... I'd image any good performer could pull this off with about 180 degrees of a group facing toward them. You don't have to be stiff like rock and have some room to play with it. You have to do the trick and be done with it. You can't like stop half way through and be all like "yo check out the bill floating, look around everywhere" lol. You pretty much set it up, float the bill, pass the other bill underneath, bring it down and hand the bills back out. At no point is there room to stop the routine. Which seems like strange thing to do anyway. PROS Well made You can use borrowed bills Ends clean enough Def something you can carry around in your pocket Think if you learn it well enough it would be an awesome trick CONS Take a little bit of getting use to (what doesn't) You don't end super clean A bit angle, not 360, up and down If you sat on the gimmick you'd prob break it, when you carry it around put is in your jacket pocket or somewhere it won't get crushed or snap OVERALL I'm personally super stoked to say this would be really cool bar trick or something fun to bring out and show people. It lives in-between the worlds of not being a big appearing pigeons thing and a Tenyo toy. Which is perfect for someone like me who is taking up magic as a hobby. If you like the trick it does pretty much exactly as demo'ed. Also it's something other than cards or coins or bill changes or something that looks like IT. I'll keep you posted as I play with it if I start to notice anything new. Hope this helps ! |

A couple of weeks have passed and no more comments. $50 is a lot for a floating bill effect. Is anybody buying? Is DannyHo the only Café member who has this? Guess so. Danny--Danny- how's this working for you now?

I'm curious about how you would perform this and not have the spectator dip their head down and look under the bill.
