Hi, I was wondering where I can get chinese coins that are the exact same size as morgans silver dollars?? I need it to be the exact size so I can fit my expanded S*** over the chinese coin....I have the ones curtis kam uses in POS2, but they are bigger than the dollar coins...

Al Schneider had some "Chinese" coins made that were dollar sized, and I thnk performed the exact function you describe. They were very attractive, featuring a dragon on one side. I believe the hole was round.

I think Todd Lassen bought up as many of these as he could find. He'd be the guy to contact. Also, I have heard that you can find the Johnson dollar sized CC at exhorbitant prices on ebay from time to time.

I was writing an essay on coin sizes across civilizations ... then realized you probably just want a dolled up washer. Nothing really wrong with taking a washer to an engraver, then getting it plated and painted to taste.

Using REAL coins is not always the best decision for everyone.

Todd Lasssen made up a Morgan Dollar/Chinese brass coin for me with a dragon on it and a matching regular Chinese coin. He used the coins that Al Schneider sold him. Mine were made without a hole. If he has any ones left I'm sure he could makes ones with a center hole like a Chinatown coin.
