Okay, okay. I am used to seeing some great coin magic on classic coin man, Al Schneider's web site, World magic center, but what I am not used to seeing is an explaination. Anyone see the new coin trick he posted there? http://www.worldmagiccenter.com

I did see the trick posted. It is password protected though. I am guessing only magicians would stick around to check it out. What did you think?

I read it but it was a little out of my league at this time, when the instructions are over half a page I start to panic. Those were like three pages.
Looked like a nice effect though. Nick |

Three pages is nothing. I love instructions that go into some depth. Probably why things like the booklets on School for Scoundrels are so popular.
Most of his stuff is pretty in depth, his columns in Genii are a good example. Then again I was raised in magic during the days when there were no videos, personal computers were a pipe dream, checking out the Tarbell Course at the local library was possible and instruction sheets still had useless phrases such as, "Vanish (fill in the blank) by your favorite method." I had no favorite method! I would have killed for three pages of detailed and useful instructions.

I understand where you are coming from, and agree with you.
I'm starting to realize what my problem is. I need to get bi-focals, during my last eye exam they said it was close but my choice. I said no and now I wish I hadn't! When I'm trying to work a routine and see what I'm doing and then read instructions it gets very frustrating moving my glasses up and down and not losing my place in the instructions... Oh well it's heck getiin' old, once I get the new specs I will be able to enjoy reading again. Thanks for the comments Nick Zender |

Duh,
I was never comfortable showing the four cards exactly the same each time. The last two times seemed unnatural. What a goose I am, by making a minor adjustment I can show the final two as a card in each hand, load the coins simultaneously (and at the same time). ![]()
