Hey guys I was wondering if there was an online retailer that has most sponge items in there inventory? I have been looking around as I want to make a new routine up and it seems that I either have to dig deep into the web page and do crazy searches to find things I need or there will be one item here and another on a different site. I would rather try to buy everything from one source.
Thanks. |

Not to plug any one seller, but I have had great luck with Hocus-pocus.com.
They have everything I ever wanted, including Sponge balls and any related items. Keith Shazam

Apart from the Goshman site which really has a lot of products of the best quality whether on regular or supersoft and special ones like cube to ball etc...
You may enrich your own ideas by using http://www.themagicshop.com.au/products/......C3_l_u24 which make an already interactive prop even more interactive Now you should know that Sephora is making some kind of conical make up sponges which the ladies can refer to, giving meaning to a routine.

Thanks guys. I have been loosing my mind trying to find certain types of sponges. I have been researching moves for my own routine and wanted to also see what was out there so I didn't limit myself.

I try Hocus-Pocus first for sponge products. They carry Goshman, Alan Wong, and Eddie Ace lines, though not as a thorough selection as the individual manufacturers sites.

Not sure about that. I don't imagine they are SuperSoft.

I can not see that any of your mentioned sites sell bags of 50 with Goshman balls. Where on earth is it possible to buy bags of 50, super soft 2 inch balls? I am searching like crazy and only find suspicious looking internet dealers.

The magic warehouse carries (of at least did carry) bags of 25 and 50.

I was just about to order from magic warehouse but for a sanada gimmick & some micro sponge balls they want 9.95 for shipping, why, they weigh nothing. Needless to say as the shipping doubles the price I didn't order.

A lot of sites have these rediculously high shipping charges I never pay them. Don't they realise that its costing them in lost sales. ?

I found out that Penguin sells these 50 bags of Super Soft 2' Goshmans, speaking with them over the chat. So once again, I ordered through them. I don't get either that other magic dealers have so high shipping costs and so ugly Web pages. I always end up with Penguin. Always, always. 35 $ for as big a package as I want delivered from America to Europe in just TWO DAYS and right to my door with FedEx. That's worth it.

They have a relatively small staff, and unless they can work out a special deal with UPS or FedEx, they pay huge fees to ship. You think the price of shipping a box of sponges to Mallorca from the US is ridiculous? Try having a full-sized accordion shipped from Salt Lake City, UT to Houston, TX. With insurance, it costs about $150.00. It's cheaper than driving there, and a HELL of a lot more convenient than walking. Shipping from the EU to the US is not cheap, either. It costs a lot to get a large hardbacked book sent from the EU to the US.

Most postal services charge by weight, I fail to see how 10 sponge balls can cost 9.95. I had the same problem with the effect origami, which weighs nothing, same thing they wanted 9.95 I checked on Meir Yedids site and guess what, he sent it with free shipping, so it can be done.
