I had such a blast doing the At the Table lecture. This 2 1/2 hour lecture features material that's mostly new and different from my Penguin lecture last year. Hope you all enjoy it.

There were a couple of pieces of magic that John talked about/performed that was not even planned. That's the beauty of these being live. A questioned was asked about his book One Degree, and it went from there.

What a great time!

A lot of magicians could learn a great deal by observing John Guastaferro's soft touch. Look at his Elmsley count; it's impeccable. No, really look at it.

Great to see material from John's most recent book actually performed by the creator. Bravo John. Good show.

Hi Charlie,

Thanks for the reminder about Triple Pocket Discovery (from my RSG notes). It's been awhile since I've performed it. I forgot what a strong effect that is. I'm going to re-circulate it back into my repertoire.

And thanks for your input on the lecture! Glad you found some stuff of value.

WOW! I just read his book ONE DEGREE. I loved it! If you liked the lecture Im sure you would like his book. So much material from the book went right into my close-up walk around act. HAs anyone else that has read that book, recommend this lecture?

JF,

We cover ideas that are in the book quite extensively, and John ends up performing an effect based off of a question ABOUT using the One Degree technique.
