Hey everybody-

Long time reader, but I usually just lurk around the sidewalk performers section. Before I start posting, updating my profile, and getting more involved, I was just wondering if someone could describe the how the profiles come up in google searches.

As of right now, I'm building my website, so it's not live. I do have a facebook page however. If I link to either in my profile, is that something google indexes that would ever come up in search results? As much as I love this site, from a marketing standpoint that's a negative for me (I'm sure it's not for others, but to each his or her own).
