Hello everybody.
I have decided to learn the interlocked card production. I already can perform almost well the Jeff mc Bride handling (which is Walter Gibson's handling), but Iam not satisfied because of too much finger movement. Is it the same handling? Iam not sure!! I don't think it is just practice... I think it is something in the move that mr. Nielsen does that I don't know. Recently I purchased M. Palhinha's booklet to learn another version, but the book sucked and the version was mediocre. The other sources I have to look is "interlocked with card and coins" a booklet written from Ray Wilcox. Another version of mr Sheridan in his dvds is completely different. Does anyone knows if the handling of Ray Wilcox it is the same that Norm Nielsen uses? I don't want to buy another book that I don't need... Please! If someone perform this wonderful sleight I need his help! Iam obsessed with this move! MAny thanks Gentlemen! |

Could you send us a video of you performing the sleight? It is impossible to get the interlocked production done without finger movement.

I said "too much finger movement". Of course you can't produce cards without finger movements, but if you compare Norm Nielsen and Jeff mc Bride versions, the first one seems magical, but the other one not (IMO).

The Ray Wilcox interlock production is pretty much the one that Norm Nielsen uses. I agree that it is smoother than McBride's interlock production, which looks to "busy". The angles are tough for this move. You're going to need to be a bit upstage to avoid flashing. Good luck.

You could write a message(e-mail) to Norm Nielsen per his website. Perhaps.....!?

Thank guys!!
I have already contacted mr Nielsen. They don't give information for something that they don't have in print (They told me in a very kind way). Fortunately someone sent me pm and he sent me a manuscript that describes the sleight very well. Sorry, but if you see the elegance and the economy of motion in this !! Sorry but it is so much better than Walter Gibson's...I was struggling to do smoothly a sleight that it isn't smooth. Thank you again guys, the Café is wonderful. I will study the move and I will post my progress. |
