I just got the Electric Touch+ and just wondering how can I train my tolerance with the shock if I can't practice with a live person?

You could touch the wall for a nice big shock. I don't think that you can build up a tolerance though. You could also put a shoe on the ground and touch the top of that. The thicker your shoes are, the bigger the charge will be as well. Experiment a little with what feels good.

Hi I´m Nicolas Galat and I just bought my Electric Touch+
I just worked a bit with it and I think there is something strange on my ET. When I make contact between the feets the thing starts BUZZING and the light turns blue? Does anyone knows what does that mean? Also sometimes I feel an electric shok on mi left feet. Dos anyone knows why this is happening and if its normal? Thankyou BTW, Im using the temporary way to do that |

I just took my ET out of the cardboard and started playing around with it. Still gives the creeps everytime when I'm reaching out for anything metal. A good friend of mine uses it alot. But it makes me wonder if it's worth the trouble at all. First of all the set up is pretty troublesome. Secondly as with all electronics, there's a good chance of it failing with time. Finally, it shocks people. Not sure if that's a good thing no matter how "magicial", but if I'm having trouble overcoming the shock myself, I guess it won't be very nice to do it on someone else.
Anyone else feels the same? |

Personally I don't like the concept at all. No desire to hurt anyone...though if you work stag do's I can see it being a winner. Don't know what it might do to a spectators phone - if you do use this I suggest you touch your own phone with it first. That said Jamie Grant reviewed it on Magic Friday and loves it. So not my thing but that's just me.
