Double Take is one of my favorite effects. (I open with my HaLo Aces and when the gasps die down, and as I'm shuffling the deck, I say, "Oh; I'll be honest with you - anyone can do it!" And into Double Take. A jaw dropper. It's in the Quantum Leaps section of THE CLASSIC COLLECTION, Vol. 3. (Thanks for the plug opportunity!) Best - HL.

Apollo Robbins is fascinating to watch, but has such a smooth, soothing voice that he would be excellent for this.

That happened to me several hours ago.

Only happens to me when I'm up to about midnight, but when I do fall asleep during a video I find I better remember the material I learned in the morning.

OMG I started laughing when I saw this thread because I thought I was the only one that got drowsy when watching a magic DVD. It almost always happens. I have to say that about the only one that didn't put me to sleep was CoinOne & Two by Liwag.

My favorite in lieu of sleeping pills: Al Schneider.
The man's a genius and fantastic magician; with a very soothing voice. Lennart Green is a close second.

I'm sure my falling asleep while viewing magic videos has nothing to do with the performer or the content of the DVD, it's just for some strange reason I can barely make it through a whole magic DVD without dowsing off. Personally, I think your videos are very high energy and chocked full of great material! Roberto

Quote: Ha ha, yes! So many magic videos do this, these by far are the best in place of sleeping pills.

I fell asleep in most magic videos...
I think it is because when I watch them is the time before I sleep that explain why... Magic, in my humble opinion, should be enjoy and teach in live situation.
Most memorable moment - with Maestro Juan Tamariz & Consuelo Lorgia in FISM Busan 2018.

Omg, just ran across this thread, and so happy to see this happens to others!
But first I laughed. It's definitely not an issue of content or bad teaching... |

That's so funny! I thought I was the only one. I'm on magicians youtube pages or vimeo watching others preform before on my phone before I fall asleep.
