This looks like a new take on the Mental Photography deck. Anyone out there doing this and if so do you like it?
Also if you do Mental Photography do you prefer one over the other? Thanks Kid

I like the effect of Drunken deck but the handling is bit dodgy when you keep on cutting the cards and show all the cards same ,
AT THAT MOMENT it does not look very clever and spoils the whole effect. |

I was hoping you could clarify to us what dodgy means. I see you are from the U.K. Perhaps that is a word that is common there. What would be the equivalent of that word in the U.S.?

Dodgy has a few connotations:
$3 bill Driving on the left in the USA Perfroming The Web on an Arachnophobe Whatever Tony Blair says All of these can be described as dodgy. In the context of the trick, showing a deck of cards to all be the same card makes the deck look suspicious and, hence, 'dodgy'.

I always get a great reaction with drunken deck. I've been performing it for well over a year.
I have a strange problem with it though. I always get an unwanted spread as though the roughing has worn. I treat the spreading cards and then completely new ones do the same thing. I've even rearranged the deck and let other performers try the effect and the cards still spread at the same point. Respraying just changes which cards spread. I've learned to overcome this with a slightly different handling. |

Thankyou Jon for your humorous reply! I now know that suspicious and dodgy are one and the same!

What I don't like about the second one is how the blurred cards are shown. It just looks as if the bottom pile is blurred while the others aren't.
What do you think? Can it be performed better?

I have always performed the Mental Photography deck in my table-hopping. It kills.
I bought Drunken Deck 2 as it looked like an improvement. I'm not so sure now. The handling is a bit suspect and the manufacturing is diabolical. I can't use it. The roughing just doesn't work. A friend had the same problem and re-roughed the whole thing (quite a job). He said it's OK now but I don't have the space for this horrible job. So, at present, my Drunken Deck 2 is in the drawer.
Warmest regards

So, is JBTV the only dealer that carries the Drunken Deck 2? living in the states, I really don't want to have to pay for shipping from the UK.

I use the drunken deck 2 all the time - never had any problems with it and it always goes down like a bomb!
