Hi, guys. So this is not a "trick". It's a full routine. Easy to do. You can either use this as an opener or open your act with it and move on to other tricks. The reactions from both lay people and magicians has been fantastic.

Because it's logistically really difficult. I've tried live demos with iphones, but most of the time they turn out shaky and just unwatchable. Better to do a demo in a controlled environment. And for me, a controlled environment means shooting in my little homemade studio while my daughter's in school.
Surely this demo gives you a good idea of the effect, though... It's uncut and very fair. However, next time I performer at Wizardz Magic Theatre, I'll get a live performance on video.

I love the ending phase, Cameron!
But the first phases.... I think the presentation is akward, the handling unnatural and suspicious and very unconvincing. The speak about a real chaos where cards are turned up and down does not match the fact that you only show a tiny few cards up and down and with a complicated handling and with a very ordered and squared deck. If the cards are really mixed up down and up, why not just spread the cards and show it? That is - I guess - what a layman would think. I think it rules the beauty of the last phases. A shame in my opinion. Just my view. |

Well, it would be nice to spread the cards, wouldn't it? The Triumph phase shares similarities to many others. Lay people find it convincing. Don't know what else to say about that.

It looked hurried and unnatural to me. Do you know the Triumph by DaOrtiz? He starts just seemingly cutting the deck and turning one pile over. I think it would have convinced me more if you did it that way with out that flourish looking way of doing it And by the way, DaOrtiz had the way of fanning the cards in a way that shows chaos - just to say that it is possible to do a triumph effect and showing "real" chaos at the same time. |

Right... Well, this is a different routine with different requirements due to the construction. There are always trade offs depending on what you set out to do. The turnover could be slowed down or even done differently, if you wish. This is just the way I've been doing it for this particular routine for years.
I've seen Dani's routine and it's beautiful. But this routine starts off about finding the Aces under difficult conditions. The flourishy Ace cutting is what it's all about at first (which is actually really easy to do). It then has a magical finale. Again, different plot, different construction. People find it impressive. Moving on...

Offering this nifty sandwich routine along with "The Triple" for a limited time. Based on work by Colombini and Lotayne:

Fun routine, Cameron.
To me the part where you turned over half the deck looked very good. Sure there are more convincing triumphs out there but I suspect they were developed to fool magician's who knew a little about triumph. On top of that the Triumph effect is only one part of the larger routine. |

I thought it looked a bit uncomfortable, to be honest. The thumbs are very distracting. The unfolding of the plot was nice, but I didn't like the handling. Sorry.

I thought I had heard everything but "distracting thumbs" is a first!
Horses for courses, guys. If you like it, great. If not fine. This is the kind of thing I love to perform in a formal close up setting or a casual show where I know I have a captive audience.

Craig Petty does the same thing, and it is distracting. Easily got rid of.

HOT TIP: If you have a trustworthy spectator who follows directions well, at the end of the routine, put the face up Aces in their hand. Have them wave the Aces over the deck. Then have them turn the Aces over to reveal the red backs. Their jaws will hit the floor.

Very nice routine. not sure why some people have a problem with the handling... it looked good to me.
it also looks like it should be very easy to finish clean. this kind of reminds me of david williamson's funny color stunner... just because that too is a triumph + color changing deck. anyways, great work! my guess would be that the colour changes come as a big surprise. the final change of the aces looks a bit fishy on camera, but in the real world, that switch probably flies by everyone... espeically because they probably think the trick is over and there isn't really any heat on that move. |

Just picked this up from Lybrary.com and finished watching the video. Excellent job again Cameron. I love the routine and the fact that there are no knuckle busting moves. I specialize in family and children's shows so I don't get much opportunity to do card stuff. This is a very well thought out routine that plays naturally. Can't wait to start practicing and adding this into a close up set. To anyone sitting on the fence I would say go ahead and give it a go. You won't be disappointed. As far as the final ace change being fishy - I noticed the discrepancy as well but we are looking at it as magicians and I am sure that it flies by the audience and I am guessing Cameron has never been called on it.

Looks nice Cameron but not $10 nice, the moves did seem a little awkward to me as well. Reminds me of "Revolver" a little bit.
Good work, but maybe a different price tag and I would give it a try Best, Brandon |

Not bad. After shuffling face up and face down, and you show some cards face up and face down, you only show one face-up card. Is it possible to show a couple more or maybe do the Daryl display? I'm not sure what you are doing and don't know if it is only possible to show one face-up card.
