You kind of need a side view picture of the cups to see the profile in order to accurately ID them.
Also, there's no telling the dimensions - no scale. In that picture they could be 16oz cups or 4oz cups - you just can't tell. |

If the only info you have is the picture then my gut instinct tells me they are Keith Bennett cups. A better picture form a square on angle would help greatly though.

I got this info on the cups:
"They are about 9.5 cm tall, 8cm in diameter at the top (rolled edge0, tapering to approx 6cm at the bottom. The base has a slight indent so the interior is of course raised by the same amount. There are three identical cups in a pack but no instructions or maker's name etc. They have a shiny chrome finish, duller inside." Still waiting for more pictures |

Based on those measurements they are not Keith Bennett cups.

The problem with photographing cups is that most people have no idea how to do it. If you get close to the cups, most of the time, there will be a perspective problem. This is why all of the photos in the cups and balls museum have been done at a distance of 3 meters (10 feet) with a 100mm lens. It virtually eliminates parallax distortion.
I also photograph cups nearly dead-on. I make sure that the depression in the bottom of the cups can be seen.

My gut instinct was correct. You're friend / sellers measurements appear to be out somewhat.

I just measured the cups myself. The numbers are correct that I got in the first place. Although height is more close to 8cm than 9
