The funny part about me is that my Truffle Shuffle looks better than my regular Riffle Shuffle.

Not sure if it's a good thing or not. Haha.

Can anyone recommend sources to see video performance/video teaching of Tamariz's "False Butt Shuffle" or Lennart Green's "Greek Shuffle"? (They're apparently very similar, deceptive false shuffles). The description of the false butt shuffle in the Mnemonica book isn't painting a clear enough picture for me to optimally learn it (and I grew up learning magic from books). Thank you!

Thank you to those who prefer my Heinstein Shuffle over the Truffle Shuffle but truth is they both have pros and cons. That is why some will prefer The Heinstein and others will prefer the Truffle. If you are interested in In The Hands false shuffles check out The Heinous Collection Volume 1. It teaches the Heinstein and Heinous Shuffle but also the lesser known Truffle Shuffle 2.0 which is the shuffle that I use the most often nowadays. I fixed a few problems that I had with Derek's genius Truffle Shuffle which has the huge advantage of not requiring two cuts or a slip cut. If you want to see me use these shuffles in action check out this clip from the Pete Holmes Show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDOoYsUOZWw
I am doing the Truffle Shuffle 2.0 except for when I actually mix the cards face up and face down for the triumph effect. Then I am using the original Heinstein Shuffle.

I believe the Heinstein is best when you need to focus the audience's attention on the fact that the cards are being mixed and the Truffle Shuffle and Truffle Shuffle 2.0 are best when you are casually shuffling and the sound and your body language sells the mixing of the cards. But what do I know Smile

Well done. That was wonderful to watch.

I have been practicing the Heinstein Shuffle (from the description in Genii) for 8 weeks now.

Here is a 29-minute live performance of mine: https://youtu.be/lq2Rj1uf05M

I used to be quite sensitive to criticism; I am much less so now; so, please do criticize my technique, presentation, and posts. It helps me to grow, and I promise to take responsibility and not to be defensive.
