I have just developed a new magic app for Android It's called You're Thinking Of.. https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai......pp&hl=en
Have a spectator select a card, show it around and have it hidden or placed back into the deck. The magician brings out their phone and the spectator enters their cell phone number. Once they do, a Crystal Ball appears on the screen. Ask the spectator to merely think of their card and place their finger on the crystal ball. They receive a text message on their phone "You are thinking of the Queen of spades" or whatever card they chose. What's nice is that you can write whatever text message you want to appear on their phone. You can name any card or do a mental-ism trick, such as "The Elephant in Denmark. or whatever. Once you get the app you can also join a closed Facebook page which is a forum where magicians can exchange ides for using the app. I have been using this for a while in restaurants and other events, and have actually booked shows because of this app. It blows laypeople away. |

I don't know. Yawn. Seems like mental killer but with texting. Amazing? I dunno.

I will see if I can find an Apple developer that will do this. But since most people are switching from Apple to Android, not sure it's worth the expense.

People tend to switch side.. Here and there.. My opinion is just follow the largest market. Numbers don't lie. One more thing-- I also wish there will be ios version for this app. Cheers!

Sorry I didn't mean for anyone to switch. That's a personal choice. I have always had Android, and I know lot of people who just switched from iOS recently. That's all I'm saying. If I can find a developer who will do it at a reasonable price ( I have gotten Outrageous quotes) I really want to have it made for iOS.

Hi Bryan,
I have an app already very similar to this.. Please check this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.magicApp
“It’s not what you do that matters, or even how you do it;
it’s what the spectators perceive you as doing that matters. That’s the MAGIC they’ll remember.” |

FYI People switch both ways all the time. Apple is still by far the App leader for both Apps and sales. It is the better market for developers and any developer will tell you that.

My developer is going to attempt an iOS version. However it is more difficult and more expensive to develop iOS apps. Also it is more expensive to put them in the Apple app store. So the price might be a little higher than the android version of $0.99.

Hi Bryan,
iPredict Pro allows your spectator to call or text either your number or a friend's number from THEIR phone. They will either hear your prediction via a voicemail or they will get a text response with your custom prediction in it. The reply is whatever you want it to be (it doesn't have to be a card trick). The app comes with two default effects (cards and number) you can also select custom which allows you to record your own audio responses or edit your text responses. iPredict Pro is available on both iOS and Android. cheers, Greg Rostami |

Ok I checked out your website, and I don't think an Adult Oriented website is appropriate for magic.

We are working on an addon so that you can send an email, instead of a text. Any thoughts? Also looking into an iOS version.

That's interesting that your developer says the iOS version was more expensive to make. For my apps my price estimate always came back higher for android, partly due to the number of screen sizes and resolutions you need to account for. Different processors, hardware, buttons.... depends on that app I suppose.
