Folks,

I'm looking for good apps simulating casino games.

What I usually find are free apps that want you to buy coins. What I *want* are apps which I can buy and play as often as I want. But I want realism.

Anything goes: blackjack (especially blackjack), keno, pai gow poker, video poker, roulette, slots, you name it.

Recommendations, anyone.

For Blackjack I definitely recommend the Casino Verite softwares. http://www.qfit.com/
You can set pretty much any available rules, number of decks, penetration, etc. There are different packages to choose from where you can run huge number of simulations or do shuffle tracking, ace tracking and more.
If you want nothing else but to play the game it may not be the cheapest option, but for serious BJ players and/or counters it is a must have and worth every penny.

F*** apple ... I'm going to be first in line for the new Apple Watch announced today.

17" Macbook Pro, 2 X 15" Macbook Pros, 12" Powerbook, Mac Mini, 20" iMac, Bondi Blue iMac, iPhone 5, AppleTV, and 5 or 6 iPods all in use throughout my house.

Arnold ... I confess - I'm an Apple Fanboy Smile

Let's be honest, sometimes Apple releases unbelievable things and well, they are good for initiating trends. Look and feel, design, even if it's a personal matter, are sometimes beautiful too. But prices are ridiculous and when the opponents release better items, they have problems to keep on the race track...

I just took a look of the new iPhone they're about to release. Main of the super-hyper-mega-stuff they brag about already exist on Sony, HTC, Nokia or Samsung, sometimes for years! Yet it's gonna be the new hype. I don't have a problem with Apple (Jobs was a mere merchandising and marketing genius!), I have a problem with its fans :p.

About games apps (hey, let's keep that place a bit on topic), I know mainly Android. A few words about it. Games are not fantastic. Poker stuff are mainly online crap. The few you can play offline, whether you can't defeat them, whether they play like noobs. I ran across a couple of decent Gin apps though, even if levels are not very well balanced. The couple of Bridge apps I tried were mere crap!

Chess an Draughts/Checkers offer nice alternatives. It's possible to find good software for the both of them. Casino games... well, it's always possible to find a good BlackJack or Roulette simulator or even a Craps one, but, IMHO, they always play like computers, the "human" aspect is missing. But anyway, I found many good BlackJack apps. All those apps are good for practicing purposes though. I'm, for instance, thinking about apps offering drills for computing odds at Texas Hold'em/Omaha, it can be very handy. Of course, same comment for BlackJack strategy charts, nice apps available.

Slot machine and that kind of stuff, there are plenty of good simulations available.

The main problem for me is that I can't put my hand on a submarine simulator! Shame.
