Im not new to magic but fear has kept me for doing magic for anyone other that family. But I was curious if several people through youtube could critique my work, this would be pm invite only. I know MVD exists but I do not trust many of their opinions.

Good! Don't "work" for us! Do whatever you would do for a "normal" group!) Either publish a link HERE, or PM.

The important thing is to find criticism from a source you respect (every man and his dog is very free with advice) and someone who is willing to help you polish your style rather than impose their style upon you. Listen to everything but select carefully would be my suggestion.


All of that said ...be prepared to et an idea go...its time may not have come (and also it may be a bit sh*t). Do keep a note of it though - who knows if polishing cannot turn sh*t into gold in time?

Oddly enough I am the exact opposite, I don't usually do anything for my friends or family.

I think that if you took the plunge and tried presenting your magic to strangers I think that you'll find it much better than you think. Your family know you too well so it is harder to 'pull the wool over their eyes'. To a stranger though, you are a magician guy!

I am not sure if this helps, but I think I could see what you did and how the Trick is done.
One could especially see the blank card you showed before just before you drop it on the pack in your open hand. A different angle or a closed hand would help.
Also the last move (where you leave the blank behind) shows that you give more attention here than before to get the card exactly onto the pack.

Hmm? Really?! I'm not trying to fool magicians I have not yet had any lay catch it. Would you be kind enough to give me the times of these errors. I might require shoot the vid.

Gbhunter77, I'm a coin magician so cannot offer you any critique you can use to improve your work, however I must say as a "layman" with regards to cards that latest video definitely had me fooled . I would perhaps suggest a little more "showmanship" in your presentation as it felt a little bit "flat" to me, but the effect itself definitely had me Thanks for sharing and giving me some entertainment this evening.
