Okay, we're never going to agree on this. I see your point as semantics. You put forth points you can't possibly know and then say I'm doing the same, so we're wasting our time talking about this. I don't see the parallel in your examples, and as for your "The RESULT is the exsposure and/or sharing of the secret with or without paying for it, the PLACE is YouTube the CAUSE is the PEOPLE whom did it, NOT YouTube," I've already addressed that and said that even if you want to cling to this point, it doesn't solve the problem.

As for your last paragraph, I believe that if I were to let my initial reaction dictate my response, my post would be quickly erased. You were the one who got off topic, I addressed your snap change question and I chose to address your other point as well. I will address whatever point I feel like addressing, and it's up to the moderators of this site, NOT YOU (I thought you might be able to relate to the use of caps there), to tell me what I can or cannot say. If you don't like it, apply for a job as a moderator.

Oh, and for the record, I only found out about where the person who taught me "Overkill" learned it after it was taught to me, if it matters.

You don't want to stay on topic, FINE, we won't.

Don't ya' just love when someone says semantics to avoid the real issue. How naive.

You got magic for which the author exspects to be paid for, BUT YOU DIDN'T PAY FOR it. You got it from someone else who got it off YouTube and you "claim" you found out later, SO WHAT!. YOU KNEW THAT YOU DIDN'T PAY THE AUTHOR or ANY OTHER authorized dealer for the magic, so who does it make the problem, you and that other person or YouTube, certainly not YouTube!

I don't say "semantics" to avoid the issue, I say it because in this case it's what I believe. If I wanted to avoid the issue I wouldn't have said anything at all - something which I would have thought was obvious. I believe it would have been to almost anyone else, but it wasn't to you, so...

By your way of thinking, the problem shouldn't be just me, it should also be the person who taught me the trick, because that person didn't pay for the effect either. But the source was still YouTube. As I've hinted at before, cling to whatever point/semantics you want, but YouTube still isn't good for magic and I don't accept that it is "certainly" not part of the problem no matter how you choose to phrase your points.

By the way, the next time you use the word "claim" in quotes like you did in the post I'm replying to, ask yourself if you're important enough for complete strangers to lie to you. Hint: you're not.

I'm moving on because I feel this discussion is pointless - it's clear that neither of us is going to sway the other. If you want the last word, feel free. But please consider that your points can be made without so many capital letters. You're free to use them as you wish, of course, but they come across as yelling and the end result is far closer to the reader rolling his eyes than it is to you actually scoring a point with your argument.

I wish you the best of luck with your snap change.

You say you believe it's sematics because you know it is the ONLY thing that even remotely comes close to ever giving any shread of hope in your argument in having credibility, but even in saying that, you know its not and you know it doesn't. Keep crying wolf.

Wow, it is obvious you didn't read the post because I posed the statement, "So who does it make the problem, you and that other person or YouTube, certainly not YouTube", but that just proves you post without ever reading. Call it what you will, YOU and the Other person IGNORED personal responsibility, neither of you paid for the secret and neither one of you had any problems using it. Go ahead and blame it on YouTube all you want, but videos like that can't be watched unless someone chooses to watch them. It's all in personal responsibility, just like everything else in life.

As far as putting the words "claim" in quotes and your point about me being important enough for strangers to lie to me or not, you should ask your self if you are important enough for me to listen to you and not do it, because YOU are not. So I will put whatever I like in quotes whether you like it or not. So the next time you "CLAIM" you learnt some magic somewhere from someone whom got it without paying for it and you never paid for it when YOU BOTH know it should have been paid for first, and then try to change your story around to blaim the place where you got it instead of accepting the fact you threw away ALL PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY and that it was YOUR FAULT and THEIRS and not the place's, have some better evidence or story or both to back it up because you have failed miserably here doing that.

Your moving on because you know that what you have said is ridiculous and has no validity, you can "CLAIM" whatever you want about it, but your own words prove that even YOU dooesn't believe in what you say because IF YOU DO BELIEVE IN WHAT YOU SAY then you WOULD NEVER EVER have let someone teach you magic for which YOU NEVER EVER paid for, whether or not you "CLAIM" that you didn't know it caim off YouTube.

Good luck to you as well.

I was looking for the thread describing the best videos on YouTube to learn magic from.

Is this it?

Sorry. Couldn't resist!
