Okay, so I originally wanted to get a copy of "Royal Road", but my local magic store didn't have it in stock so I got "expert at the card table," and I was wondering...I thought I saw a comment on a post the other day about an EATCT guide or something along those lines somewhere in the Café' to help with the way the author explains things. I can read it and comprehend some of it, but it is a little difficult for me to follow sometimes (was expecting to see more illustrations), so does anyone know what I'm talking about? Or if what I'm talking about is real and not something that I just thought I saw?

Some time ago I post a study guide for Royal Road and Bobo's Modern Coin Magic from a friend call Opie, can't remember ever seeing a study guide for Expert at The Card Table.

Jake,

What you are asking about is very real.

Start with Darwin Ortiz' The Annotated Erdnase...

then, Dai Vernon's Revelation...

lastly, if you can find it, Dai Vernon's Revelations, not to be confused with the Revelation version noted above...

Oh, great! Thank's Kabbalah, I knew there was something! Can't wait to delve into these bad boys.

If you've got a copy of Revelation (the one with Dai Vernon's photo on the front cover), then there is no real reason to get a copy of Revelations (the one with B&W text on the cover).

I don't want to hijack this thread but any chance of a link to the RRtCM and Bobo study guides mentioned earlier...?
