Seen that listed, Rob. It was good to see it live, and no doubt it will also be enjoyable to watch it on TV.

It will be interesting to see how it is edited. Structurally I thought it was a bit of a mess, but I loved the more personal and simple approach he adopted, especially in the first half.

The show on Monday is the Full show except one item which has been saved up for the channel 4 night called "Stand up to Cancer"
What was interesting at the end of the recording Derran had a general Q & A session , most of the audience was lay persons as the TV company do not like magicians attending , he said it took him a month to put the show together and this was followed by one month rehearsing |

Overall I really loved this show--in part because of, as said above, where his stage persona has evolved to, as well as the theatrics of it. There are a lot of really stunning moments in there. I am curious how they're going to publicly televise this show's "one more thing" finale, for those who know what I'm referring to |

His live work really is the benchmark. I think he is our leading performer by a considerable margin.

Must remember to watch this, if the sattelite is working here, bad weather affects it and Monday is supposed to be one of the worst storms this year :-(

I wish this would air in the US. I agree with Martin. He is the benchmark.

Alas not, Scott. Channel 4 always region-locks their online videos. Just for a second, it looked like this one was going to load for me, but then I got the familiar (and expected) "The service is not currently available in your area" message.
And then they wonder why Australia leads the way in the illegal downloading of TV shows... (I don't advocate or engage in piracy, for what it's worth, but in situations like this, I wish my ethics were a little more flexible).

I flew into the UK to Swansea to see Derren from Australia and I have to say it was absolutely worth it. To see a true master work the crowd is one of the best experiences of my life, the way he reacts to error and the audience was what really made the show. I also loved the personal touch!

Yeah, I jumped the gun. Wonder if there is a work-around that's not dodgy?
Best, Scott
