I first met you back in 1999 at the A1 convention. You did an effect that closely resembles something of Mayhew's where you deal from a deck that half the face up cards haven been shuffled into half the face down portion la Triumph, then dealing out only face up cards out of the deck. You made four mistakes though.....which ended up being the best 4 mistakes as they turned out to be the four aces. Did you get the inspiration from Mayhew for this effect? I'll never forget to this day.

You may be misremembering the effect. Mayhew's original used 4 Aces, but I've always done it with a Royal Flush. The version I use was shown to me by Allan Ackerman in 1998 in Colorado Springs. You can find it in Allan's lecture notes Classic Handlings.
