A friend of mine who, by the way, has nothing to do with magic, sent me an email before this was changed. I noticed I was one of a dozen or more recipients. Quoting: "LOL! Always wondered how these guys did this stuff! It's always a trick!" then he put the link.
Yeah. People Google a lot of things. I don't like it one bit. Not a THING we can do about it. Adjust, adjust! Ha! Not a chance I'm getting this wallet! My friend has a big mouth. Oh well! Doug |

Did any of you received the wallet already?
how many cards can it hold? i am really undecided about getting The informant or a Pantera Wallet from Outlaw, i just can't stand with big wallets, I need compact ones and those are the best I found, The informant looks wonderful as its vertical, (the way I like them), but the drawbacks are the lacks of holes for hold several everyday items, maybe there are two pockets at much, also the two ID windows make it suspicious... 99% of wallets doesn't have external windows, just a few, so each time I see a mental wallet with a window I already think something strange... Pantera is also very compact and doesn't need any special pen for it, however I can't manage a excuse to just pick his paper and put it in your wallet, that's as odd as a wallet with external ID windows, and another "bad" point might be the lack of pockets, there are just 2 pockets for your stuff, and sadly they are not vertical, so you can't remove something quick from the wallet, you need to fully open it,

Yup - if you feel that strongly about both products, and can't find your own logical explanation(s), then don't buy either - job done!

James, the word confident had been invented back then. Bob is a foremost authority on mentalism, and his performance exemplifies the word confidence.

Can we get back to reviewing the actual product at hand? Gosh, every time I look at a thread lately, people go off on tangents about the artist, or trailer quality or something irrelevant. I would like to see an honest frikin review of "The Informant." What are the pros? What are the cons? Please, someone give us that!

Paranormal Wallet is a bit no sense to me, a wallet with a big notepad inside... look too much setup everything,
everything must be more casual and justified, how many times did you see a memopad wallet? well there are some, but at the moment you use it as a magic device it becomes suspicious to take the full opened wallet and write inside it, The informant looks much more natural, specially if you put it under the paper as a paper holder saying you are going to write something, and then you change your mind, and tell him to better write something and keep the paper, at that point you already killed the possiblity of a gimmick wallet, as seting up the wallet as a paper holder was for you, not for him,

Erm...by your own logic, how many people carry around a "paper holder"?
and the paranormal wallet lets you take off a post-it note and put it on the outside of the wallet for them to write on, and then keep...

I recieved mine over the weekend and it's currently in my pocket. For me, it's the perfect everyday wallet. For years I've carried a money clip style wallet as I like to carry mine in my front pocket; Informant is small enough to do that. The impression device (Pypher) is something I've been using for years so to be able to have it with me at all times without taking up any more room is perfect.
The quality is excellent and it should hold up for as long as any other leather wallet. To let you know what it can handle, I currently have the following items in my Informant: Driver's License and insurnace card in one ID window, Impression device in the other ID window. 3 credit cards in 2 slots, some cash, a few business cards, and the reset "device." My only knock on the product is the "training video." The video link they send you will show you how to use the wallet. It will not provide you with much in the way of routining or using the Out-to-Lunch principle. But like I said, I've been using Psypher since it was called Univerisal Impression so I have my routines set and as for Out-to-Lunch, I've got that covered too. However, since many that shop on Ellusionist are perhaps less-experienced, they may be disappointed with the training video. Also, you do get 2 Imp devices. They are both the same but you do get 2. |

Is the pen/sharpie a normal one or is it also something special that we need to buy again later?
