If you're really in Steampunk, go to the site of AETHERWERK (Berlin - Germany).
> Galery and look for Bracer.
He can also create beautiful cups, made from leather!

I just purchased a set of combo cups from RNT2. Can't wait to get them. So far the service has been great. I'll post more when they arrive.

David... Cool, I am glad that I was helpful.

Will you keep them shiny or let them turn brown?

Take care,

RNT2 is awesome. But I wouldn't trade my Johnson brass either.

Right now I'm thinking about keeping them shiny. I work with copper on a daily basis outside of magic, and I love bright new copper. How often do I need to polish the cups to keep them bright?

David... The best way to keep them bright and shiny is to give them a good polishing with FLITZ or another like product and then apply some wax.

Good luck,
Bruce

Thanks Bruce. What kind of wax?

David... I have used many waxes over the years to keep Cups shiny or to protect a state of patina that I like. I keep using Renaissance Wax that Bri Watson turned me on to. It is used by museums and for antique restoration. Another is Mother's Carnauba Wax, however some car waxes have added cleaners that can mess with a patina you might want keep.

The good thing about better Cups is that you really have to work at destroying them... don't be afraid to try things and if you have a concern... Contact Donnie at RNT2.

Brett Sherwood is worth a look as well. Great service. I purchased a straight set of balls from him that I really like. If I had the money I'd get a set of cups from him too.
Magic is the bacon in the breakfast of life.
