Hi all

This look great. Any reviews???

Wonder Silk in Balloon by RYOTA

A real magic trick demonstrated in various TV programs, Dinner and Floor shows has lifted the bar here by RYOTA!

An unprecedented penetration effect becomes possible.
"Silk in Balloon" is classic magic that has reached the level of the Real Magic at last.

Effect:
The magician begins to blow up one clear balloon.
Nothing is inside.
Tie up the neck of swelled balloon.
Take out a handkerchief from a pocket and push it to the balloon.
Its tip penetrates and goes into a balloon at first.
Continue to push in and finally the whole handkerchief goes into the balloon.
Surely there is no hole on the balloon!
You can show all angels where the handkerchief penetrates and can give it to spectators to examine.

Specially designed Wonder SiB gimmick makes this effect possible.

Key Points:

The balloon is examinable after the performance.
You can perform this from a close up situation to stage.
Wonder SiB gimmick is durable so you can use it for a long time.
All of the necessary items are included so you can practice immediately.
Very practical magic trick.
Product Contents:
Instructional DVD
Set of Gimmick
Silk
Balloon
DVD
Language: Japanese
Subtitle: English

Can't wrap my head around that one. Looks squeaky clean and pretty freakish.

So are the balloons special or easy refills? Can we use a cheap silk and give it away as a souvenir?

Bill -

It looks like your review is for the Wonder Floating Balloon by Ryota, which came out last year. Nice effect, but it's different than the silk in balloon that is under discussion. Thanks for the link, though - now I'm interested in the floating one as well.

My bad! Did not know he came out with another balloon trick. Sorry!

I have to say this is not as good as his 1st offering. To much death grip holding the balloon. Takes to long, unlike the regular Silk In Balloon. I have to pass on this one. His demonstration video was not as fair and unedited as Floating Balloon. This is way over priced for an old balloon secret everyone knows about. Not a fooler, and I don't think will get much good responses from spectator's. Just my opinion of course. I don't have to buy it to see all the pitfalls in this trick.

Went ahead and ordered it. I don't do anything like this already, and if it looks half as good in person as in the promo, it'll be a great addition for variety. I'll post thoughts after it arrives.

It does look amazing, and I do not think his closed hand thru most of the performance has anything to do with the effect as WPR claims you end clean.
But at 60 bucks, that's a bit pricey, I was about to order it until I saw that.

I received this today. I really like it. It is what I thought it would be and am happy with the purchase. I messed around with it a few times then showed it to my wife and boys (10, 7 and 3). They all really loved it. Its not real difficult to do. Everything used is well hidden during the routine. I would definitely use it on stage/parlour and in a close-up setting. You will have to be a little careful with the angles in close-up but it will work. I did it with my family a few feet from me and it was fine. Instructions on the DVD are easy to follow and well explained. The effect live looks just as it does in the video. I was disappointed to find that it only comes with 5 balloons! For $60.00 I think you should at least have got 10 to 15 balloons. But I already had a bag of 100 lying around. Is it worth $60.00? For what the gimmicks are and for only getting 5 balloons, no. But- it's one of those effects that is well thought out with what's in play that results in a beautiful looking effect. It's an effect that I will use. So on the other hand, you could say it is worth $60.00.

My wife is not easily impressed anymore with most magic but she really liked how this looked live.

Yeah, $60 killed it for me too. $25 to $35, yeah. In a heartbeat. I'll pass...

I have to say- I performed this for some adults and kids and they were truly amazed. I understand it is expensive, but the reactions for this are really amazing.

Anybody else perform this yet?

Can you use paper napkins instead? And eventually hand them out as a souvenir?
