Right chaps (and chappettes)

Here's a magic trick that is designed for laymen, not for magicians, but nonetheless I'd appreciate your feedback. It's pretty standard stuff - DLs, Elmsleys, etc. My sleights are pretty rusty these days, so if you could advise 1) if it's good enough for public consumption or needs re-shooting and 2)if there are any moves that could be substituted to improve the illusion.

Gimme a shout if you're in/near London and want to practice going out and doing some magic for the general public. I'm too chicken to do it on my own.

I am not a sleight of hand guy so, from an almost layman point of view, it is fooling Smile

As a side note, the trick seems to be constructed so that you spectator knows that something will appear but then, it is a tiny cross : it felt a little bit dissapointing... The bigger the better Smile

Smoothly done man, your slights aren't too rusty. I had messed around with doing reset with one set of blank cards and a set of normal cards. But ended up thinking the original plot was stronger. The fact they see all the faces are different and each of those sets are also completely different seems to negate any 'switches' or 'substitutions' to them.

This is not exactly reset though, as you only 'appear' to have 4 cards. Whereas the plot of reset is that two sets of cards slowly changes places.

I really like your handling variation, maybe if 4 different ESP symbols appeared? And then you did an effect where they all turn back blank except the one the thought of?
Look behind you...on your left...thats the real world.
