I keep trying to like this but this just has a giant "so what" plot written all over it. Barely magical no matter how cool the gimmick is.

If the reaction is blah then why would I waste my money on this when I could get the same result in another way with something I already have. After a little thought I figured that there are only 6 scenarios to the prediction and I can set those up on my Iphone through Greg Rostami's iForce. Same concept. Lie the phone done on the table and state that you wrote a prediction. Go through this routine, when all is said and done turn the phone over to reveal. Bang! Saved myself $39.99! As an added bonus I can snap a shot of the prediction and send it to the spectator (i get there contact info and they get mine with a perfect prediction). Sweet! Thanks I am going to start playing with it now. Patrick Wallace |

I listened to Bob Cassidy on the walk around Mental Epic (where he stated that all the small mental epic boards look like toys) and have just used business cards on the fly. I am glad I listened and it has proven to be the right choice as it looks like true mind reading. The same goes with this and Free Will. Whether it is 2 or 3 outs you can accomplish the same with business card(s) and a coin envelop (gimmicked). As for the verbiage, that is easy, forget "I" and "You" and just say ??? is in the hand, ??? is in the pocket, ??? is on the table or is left out. An ambiguous statement eliminates the third out and done right goes undetected. As I have stated earlier you can do the same by using your phone with other apps. Sometimes less is more and the Keep it Simple formula is the way to go.

Some good news the delivery has arrived at Murphy's and is on the way to us in the UK.
As the UK note version will not be available for about a month we are stocking the bill version as it can be used with any bill you may have from a restaurant, bar etc and not be out of place in your wallet. I know I will use this before it even arrives its just one easy thing to have with you at all times. As long as UPS are good to us all and arrive early enough pre-orders will ship tomorrow. Check it out here http://www.saturnmagic.co.uk/new-magic/f......nts.html

I would like to know what the performer was saying to guy to get him to put the bill in his pocket. The sound was removed while we looked at the man putting the item in his pocket the 1st time.
True, this is not a bring the house down mental effect. There is need for tricks that help build an act. There is also tricks for formal shows, and tricks that play well all the time for table hopping or street magic. I see this trick as a conversation trick with friends and acquaintances. Going out with a few friends, dining with clients, having guest over for a small party. This would be the perfect situation for this type of effect. If you are a socialite then this is the trick for you to carry with you. |

I'm still not 100% sure about this but personally if I were in the UK; I'd wait for it to say Note. here's why. Firstly, as others have said; by the time it arrives in UK version you'll have heard how good or bad it is. Secondly; the only real advantage in my opinion over other free will type effects is the fact that it's always on your key chain and ready to go at a moments notice, even if you don't have a pen to make a prediction or don't have a pre written prediction with you. If you plan to use a restaurant bill you are unlikely to be able to borrow one (or at least couldn't bank on it) and therefore can only do this when you have one with you.

I'm sure people who eat out a bit more than I do, will find the word bill almost a benefit, so I guess on reflection; its probably as long as it is broad.

I like the fact that there are different outcomes to this,i do a 3 card free will ,but with this it is nice to beable to repeat it a few times, that to me is well worth it ,i will wait for the note one though.

Hi Bill, I am the performer on the DVD You do not need to lead the spectator in anyway. Spectator truly has a free choice of were they put each object and can change their mind as many times as they like before you reveal the prediction that is out in full view before you start the process. Hope this helps. I perform this in casual off the cuff scenarios most of the time but it has also made it's way into my A set at corporate events and it plays equally as well. People are fascinated with the idea of decisions, making the right ones, wrong ones, if our decisions truly are our own, how easily we can or cannot be influenced etc. etc. Looking forward to the reviews and hearing others brilliant routine ideas !
