I don't see what's new here.
"The cards are mixed and the individual selects any one of them. Even so, she turns over the tabled prediction, and it matches her selection!" = The individual selects any one of them, true, BUT is it a free selection? Not necessarily. There are many ways to force a spectator to pick a card, any card. Am I missing something? I just don't see what's so new or great about this. As long as you can force a card, the effect is still the same, right? Charles |

If clean, why no video showing the effect?

Because certain types of people rewatch videos and try to nab the effect for free...or, more usually name a very obvious method because that's all they know or understand...

As I recall, the magician is supposed to instruct them to deal through the cards S-L-O-W-L-Y, no? Real slowly, right? Doing that helps control your spectator. Not doing it lets them run wild, so to speak. And then in the first video the spec dealt down to the 16th card. If that happened in the Shufton world of "Inexplicable" in it's purest form, the magician would have been sunk, correct? Or do I remember the trick wrong?

No matter how you spin it- the spectators stopped WHENEVER they wanted. Those of us who actually perform this and use it regularly understand the impact this has on the audience. Those who chose not to perform it or only perform it a few times will not understand the impact. RNK

With a K***n deck they can also truly stop whenever they want.
The 19th card. The 32nd card. The 45th card. Or the 50th card. Is it the same for "Inexplicable"? And I mean "Inexplicable" in it's purest form, not an adulterated form as per the instruction sheet. And am I wrong about the fast dealing through the cards? Isn't it recommended, no- REQUIRED, that the dealing be done slowly? Real s--l--o--w--l--y? I believe that it is.

RNK, I'm not disagreeing with your last statement at all.
I'm just saying that the 2 videos posted did not follow that recommendation. And, because of that, one of the performers would have been busted doing "Inexplicable" the way that I remember it. I did buy "Inexplicable". I never used it. I know that you like it and use it, RNK. I do remember your posts in that original thread stating that you were happy with it. And I will not argue with you over that. I'm glad that you like it and use it. I am actually interested in PS ILY, but I will wait for reviews from people here in early December before I take the plunge.

The "no force" in the ad copy is only from the spectator's perspective. In reality, I believe a psychological force is used. Shufton can confirm, but most creators put things from spectator's perspective to increase sales.
