I hope this hasnt been beat to death already. I want to develop stories to my effects but this is not my forte. Depending on who you read, the are 12-20 basic effects (i.e. production, transpostion, vanish, transformation, relocation, levitation, etc,) What are some story plots that line up to these generic effects. For starters:

Torn and Restored: Travel back in time, shattered and renewed dreams/aspirations,
Transformation: metamorphosis,
Relocation: invisibility, Star Trek beaming, wormholes (secret passages)
