Well that was just an extended ad for mystery solved with some tat reviewed that wouldn't over shadow it.
I notice on the ad that Chris Kavanagh quote is used ...what exactly are his credentials ? Nb instead of £30 for Steal Cup you could use a Magic Jug for around £4 |

Really great show again this week. So entertaining. Is there a lid on the Mystery Solved? I did not notice anything being removed or flapping about.
It looks really good and very deceptive. |

I'm glad you guys reviewed a few kid tricks. Please keep doing that. The clear box looks like it might be really good.

Mystery Solved looks good. I am glad that there is a clear (pun intended) credit to the original mystery box for its origin.
The rest of the show though was a little disappointing. Something/Nothing has been in and out of magic stores. I once bought a set of all sorts of different sponge words that could be used in a routine but found out in practice that it is nearly impossible to load or reveal the words with a whole bunch of awkward fumbling to make sure it is legible to the audience. Backwards, upside down etc. is so anticlimactic! The steel can? I don't see much appeal in producing teaspoons of water repeatedly. Drinking and spitting the water also put me off a little. If you want a similar thing that works great with kids why not just buy the old funnel trick? Hoping next week will back to the shows normal standards. |

For me the first two items were a joke, I can't see anyone having a use for them. Mystery solved looks like it could be OK see what the reviews say .
By failing to prepare, we are preparing to fail.

Yeah, I wouldn't ever use those 2 kid tricks, but I'm glad they reviewed kid show stuff. Suprised they didn't trash them though.

I think you should review the marking system, it started off well but lately everything seems to be getting 80s and 90s, that used to mean the product was a must have now it's nothing too special :/ still a big fan of the show though

"Something & Nothing" is a very specialized prop. It is for the magician to make something of it, and I'm sure that some magicians will find a good use for it. Certainly not a joke.
"Steal Cup" - interesting, but not particularly impressive.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

Slayed?
In the same manner that people are 'fried', 'blown away', 'freaked out' or, plain old simple 'amazed'? I'd love some of you blokes to work in the UK. If you are an extremely good magical entertainer, you may get a smile doing a few magic tricks................at best.

Perhaps time to review your set Merc man. Mystery solved looks awesome. It's on my list. Congrats David on a brilliant bit of thinking.
