I have been trying without success for weeks to access the site and try to get invited to join the group. Can anyone shed some light?
Each time I try to get on the site, I get the following message: "This content is currently unavailable The page you requested cannot be displayed right now. It may be temporarily unavailable, the link you clicked on may have expired, or you may not have permission to view this page." Many thanks. |

It would help if you posted a link so other can try your "experiment" and discover if we get the same or different results then you do.

SME is a group on Facebook. I joined about two months ago. I had to request to join and then wait for approval which only took about a day. See if there is a join button. Don't worry if it says this is a closed group. Just hit join and see what happens.

Yeah. Just hit the join button. And tell them Jim sent you. Should take. Day or so. PM me if that don't work. I'll ask dennis (the Man) to fix the problem if there is one.

Is anybody able to assist me? I've not yet heard back from Jim.
I'm not able to even find the group to request to join. It doesn't come up on my search results and when I've tried a direct link I receive the above message. Many thanks! |

In order to join Surplus Magic Exchange you need to be invited by someone who is already a member of SME and can vouch for you. That is my understanding. Rod

Don't bother. They are starting to charge to post items for sale and if you complain, they kick you off. Not a user friendly facebook page.
New to performance magic but want to invest in larger illusions and see where it takes me!

I do not know where you got your information but you are 100% WRONG. SME does not and has never charged to Sell or Purchase items. And it is a very user friendly FB Page. And people will always complain on any forum. I sure would like to know where you received your information? Rod
