Hi Everyone. Thanks to taking a moment here.
I am not a card guy, but I would like to try this effect in my strolling trade show gigs. Can you recommend a fairly easy, yet effective version? With the myriad available, my head was spinning after trying to figure which one is best for a sleight of hand challenged person. Thanks Dave |

I like a T&R from Paul Harris I belive I found it in Supermagic. But I think it was also in one of the books of wonder by Tommy Wonder with some refinements.

Torched and Restored is good and easy to perform.

I've played with dozens. For real people, Williamson's Torn and Restored transpo should tic all the boxes.

I'd go with Brent Braun's torched and restored.

I just received torched and restored. It's pretty simple to do looks fantastic but the cleanup in the end needs a little tweaking. Not yet sure how to do that.

Torn by Daniel Garcia is good if you want ungimmicked. TNR by Mathieu Bich is IMHO more visual, but is gimmicked. Also, Justin Miller has a different handling altogether with Descent (The Bold Project Vol. 1), in which the entire restoration is instantaneous, as opposed to piece by piece. All good effects, and there are plenty more to choose from as you already know.

For a non-sleight intensive TnR cards with a visual impact, my vote is Descent. It is quick and visual.
Also, You said, "my head was spinning after trying to figure which one is best for a sleight of hand challenged person." Your avatar and this quote made me laugh. I loves puns.

Baldini,
Check out David Devlins Quarterly Returns (available at Lybrary.com). Very practical and suitable for the sleight of hand challenged. http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......orum=217 |

Torn by Daniel Garcia is great but I find Rehab by Cameron Francis to be basically the same thing but a little easier, a little friendlier with angles, and eliminate one part of Torn that I really don't like.

Torn by Garcia is great, but probably not good for strolling. Heinstein's Dream is definitely perfect for strolling work and is easy to do. Highly recommended!

Torched & Restored by Brent Braun, a full flash restoration. Super simple to execute and super visual. Is it the best, to each their own.. For me, yes, it's the best.

Torched & Restored and Heinstein's Dream are indeed quite easy to master. Nice flash restoration indeed.
I also agree with Pepsi Twist on Rehab. |

Just a heads up. Penguin just released Torched and Restored and at this price it's a no brainer.
I have been using it for over 15 years and have made a worldwide reputation with it. http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/5079 Brent Braun |

I've bought the Torched & Restored booklet in 2003 and just last week I ordered the instant download @ Penguin.
Can't go wrong with this one! |
