Hey guys,
For the ring on rope routine from david williamsons penguin lecture and various DVD's how long should the pieces of rope be? Thanks Magic Oli |

Williamson did not mention the lengths of rope pieces he used in the Video. He also goes a little fast with the knotting process and is difficult for me to recreate and learn easily.
Take some advice from Daryl, spread your fingers out, then measure the distance from the thumb tip to the little finger. Cut your piece of rope this length, for me it is 8.5". Another method is to start at the length of the smallest piece used for the Professor Nitemare rope trick, which is 11". After you learn the knotting move, you can shorten as you believe will help you perform the moves more easily. |

From what it looks like. Just use a pie e of rope long enough to double up and it fall about a foot from the floor holding it chest height. Hope it helps

I use 5 feet and 10 inches for the two main pieces, plus 3 inches for the "flying cut piece"
