I just saw a sneak peek of Bill Montana's Lotus, which is a really lovely, visual way of revealing a playing card, number, symbol or even a short word. No props to buy, can be made at home with stuff you already own. This could be dressed up a lot of different ways and provides a lovely moment of magic if framed correctly.

Available only direct from Bill (mentalistcreationlab).

I also had the pleasure of previewing Lotus. It's vintage Montana, which is to say brilliant!

Enough said.

I can see ways to darken this effect to a suitable shade of gothic. My version shall be known as Roisin Dubh.

Thanks Guys gals you like this new item.

The Lotus Flower is not on any website at the moment so you will need to drop me a message and I can send you more information about the effect.

Also I am putting together a new site and one that will work with phones and Ipads as the old one is not working right at all with just about every form of computer. What happened is I tried to fix the jacked up code and made it even worse. LOL. Hope to have the new site up and running by the first of the year but the ebooks will no longer be offered only physical versions of my creations.

If your wondering what this thing is I uploaded a short and rough webcam clip to you tube under the title The Lotus Flower by Bill Montana the video is low resolution and the mic was too close to my face you you will even get some heavy breathing toward the end of the clip. But you get the idea of what this thing does. The cool thing about this thingy is you can use it in a number of ways for example it can be used in a seance I know because I used it in one. In this low light seance I had a box of stuff that belonged to a little girl long ago which was brought out and opened inside of this box there were a couple of these and some other stuff. When the Lotus Flower did its thing it was kinda spooky. Then the sitters saw what was written on the Lotus Flower and freaked out. So you can use it in many different ways as its an apparatus more than a single trick so to speak. Bill Montana

A true work of magic should spark astonishment in the performer as well as the audience. An exceptional true work of magic should add the benefit of sparking the same type of creativity in the performer as it embodies.

Lotus meets all those criteria and more.

It's simply brilliant Bill ,great work as always . This can be super cool with a positive card from a tarot deck that's forced. How freakey would it be pre show work then have flower open with info . Much potential here Bill ,again brilliant from a brilliant mind.

Thanks Carl.

Also here is something else I have not told many people just one besides myself in fact. If you use the blank template and have someone write something in the center then have them fold the leaves up. You can use it as an easy peek billet. But that's not in the instructions because this thing will be used by non readers and mentalist. Easy to do because it kinda refolds itself if done correctly and if your angles are right its completely invisible to the sitter and takes less than a second. But best if done one on one so you do not get busted. Which makes it good for psychic reading work. Because as the lotus flower opens in the end of the reading....well you get the idea I can not bring myself to say another word about that as I use that all the time. I am working on a special video that will be private showing that technique later this week.

Been a long Black Friday and now I am passing out for a couple of hours.
