When I was married to my ex who's family is from Puerto-Rico, she had her mother come over and asked me to do a trick for her mom. I did a simple "floating dollar bill". Her mother sacreamed and jumped up waving her arms and calling me a devil in Spanish. I even tried to show her how I did it so she would not think of me of an "evil spirit. She would not let me go near her out of fear.

I found out later that my ex knew her mother and most of the people in that region feared "evil". My ex thought it was funny, but her mother never came near me because of fear.

Well...too bad my mother-in-law is NOT Puerto Rican, I keep trying some spooky magic to see if it'll keep her away, but no such luck yet. I'll keep ya posted, though.
