Thanks very much for the information and the advice Julie. I will heed both and restrain myself until my booklet arrives. In the meantime I will review your earlier posts and do some glass shopping just in case.
All the best. Eric |

I am curious about your opinion on Copenetro performance.
Years ago while hanging around Martin's magic shop in Detroit, I played with a Copenetro. I did a routine with a visitor to the shop. I made the coins disappear while another held the set. This other was an experienced Copenetro user. He found the trick better to use as a penetration effect. He said he used the coin stand to do the coin business but apparently pressed the coin against the larger glass. Then the coin appeared in the shot glass. He would disassemble the set to show the glasses normal. This was repeated four times. Just curious what you (anyone) think. Al
Magic Al. Say it fast and it is magical.

I remember visiting Tannen's as a kid in the late 70's early 80's and Tony Spina did Copenetro in the shop one morning for some of us kids hanging out. We were all just mesmerized. RIP Tony

My bought-new-in-1962 original Kline Copenetro finally wore out the bottom plate, and became
unreliable in action. I used a computer CAD system to design a new replacement plate, and had several new plates made from laser-cut stainless steel. The new plate works great, will last a long time, and will be trouble-free. The new plate is easy to install in place of the old plate. If there is interest from other Copenetro users, I can make them available at a reasonable price. Is anyone here interested? |
