New Bond film starting filming. Same primaries.
Should be a good offering. Anyone else looking forward to it? I personally endorse any organization with the words extortion and revenge in the acronym.

Yes, I'll be another special effects extravaganza.
Give me Sean and all his politically incorrect dialogue any day.

I read that the lawsuit was settled a year ago.

Well, they say here that the right were returned, but I'd like to hear more about what actually happened;

Modern day Bonds have to appeal to modern day viewers in order to make modern day dollars.
We'll see how that works. |

Indeed. Skyfall is said to be the biggest grossing UK film of all time.

I thought so too. Not sure why we will have to see if there is appeal.

I've seen all the latest Bond films, can't say I loved any of them. Casino Royale was pretty bad. I especially loved the red neck dealer with the card vest in the high class casino.
Hopefully, next time they cast a new Bond, they'll find someone less wooden and with more personality.

Well it seems as if that might be a minority opinion.

Personally, I think the new Bond is much closer to the character in Fleming's books than any of the others have been.

Never saw that sentence before but ok.
When you look at exactly what he has gone through a wooden dude may be in order. As Bob said closer to what I imagined Fleming was going for.

I always find it hard to fathom that the same person who wrote Chitty Chitty Bang Bang created James Bond, 007. Just shows, when you have talent you have talent.
Which brings me to the point of this post. Dick Vandyke could be Bond, James Bond...Maybe not.
If I were to agree with you. Then we would both be wrong. As of Apr 5, 2015 10:26 pm I have 880 posts. Used to have over 1,000
