I am waiting in anticipation for my pre-order to arrive. Devin, don't get too distracted by the distractors - they will always be there and there is nothing to sway those who choose to criticise incessantly. Best to go forward with your work as you have done, which is appreciated by those how wish you to succeed. Looking forward to your take on the ID and your Blankwave sounds just as promising. Will be keeping my eye out.

I just received Mr. Knight's Improved Invisible Deck and although I have seen this application before, it was quite clever to apply it to the Invisible Deck. It works just as he says. I had always liked the Invisible Deck but I suffered two problems with it. First, the pairs of cards were too tenacious for my skin texture or hand size. Revealing the chosen card always required some awkward move that looked unnatural. To remedy this I had to wear out the pairs to make it easier, which ended declining the decks life span to only a few demonstrations. Secondly, the cards would turn yellow from the substance in making the deck, which I didn't like. The Improved Invisible Deck seems to address those issues. The ability to show no other cards turned over is icing on the cake. For me it is a well thought out trick and addresses my most major concerns when performing it. However, there always seems to be one right, my deck came with a couple of pairs of cards that didn't behave as expected. Either there was too little material put on or they were completely missed. After receiving the deck, I ended up having to order the material to rectify the deck. I was planning to get it anyway but the fact that I had to was a little annoying. In total, it works great and I think anyone who wants to perform this should consider this deck.

Thanks, I've tried them every which way, but they do not cling. That's OK though, it wouldn't hurt to have some stuff on hand to dress them up now and then.

Thanks for letting me know. I am spending 12 to 15 hours a day making these decks. It is possible that I got a little tired and missed a pair. After these decks are done for the trilogy I don't want to see another card! LOL

You must be crossed eyed by now. I appreciate the concern, it is a clever application of the principle. I've been in magic for several years and have been president of a local S.A.M. for the past four years. I peruse the Café but don't post much for a few reasons. Unfortunately, there are those that equate the number of posts to either experience and or intelligence. Good luck in your endeavors and it may not mean much in light of all the backlash but your Improved Invisible Deck is very much improved.

Could you make the one I ordered at Hocus-Pocus in Phoenix back design? If you could that'd be great from you, if not no problem, I totally understand. Cheers |

No problem Devin, as I will be able to make one for myself after having received yours, it'll be okay.

Exactly but neither Nicolino nor Ustaad are man enough to . They love all the praise they get from people most of the time but struggle when it's their turn to hold their hands up , but that's ego I'm afraid and unfortunately magicians seem to have a lot of it . Not all but more than your average folk IMO

I received this in the mail yesterday and have now had a chance to check it out. This is exactly what I thought would be as I am familiar with the concept, and even made on of these for myself several years ago with a similar product -- although the new product is much better. I don't know who originally had the idea and I'm not going to speculate, but I do know that I have never seen this deck produced this way. It does as advertised and I think many people will be happy with it. With that said, I didn't use the one that I made up for myself and I will not be using this one and you will be able to find it in another section in the café shortly. I prefer another method for myself, but that's just me.

While I made an order for Devin's new ID from Hocus-Pocus, I also made an order directly from Devin. I just received the ID from Devin and was playing around with it last night. The handling is different than using a regular ID. IT is not difficult at all to long, but it needs a little time to get used to the new handling. The major difference from a regular ID and the reason I got Devin's new ID is the ease of separating the cards. The advertisement is spot on accurate. Devin's new ID is incredibly easy to separate the card to the desired selection. ID is a great effect but I stayed away from it due to the difficulty of separating the cards. But not so with Devin's ID. IT is super easy to separate due to how the cards are made up. Also, due to the way the cards are made up, they will last much longer than a standard ID. IF you need to touch up the cards after using it for a very long time, Devin tells you what you need to do so.
I am extremely pleased with Devin's new ID. I can now finally use an ID. Strongly recommended. Michael

In the last few years I have been experiencing dryness in my hands as well, but kept up with persistent use of the ID. I am excited to soon have an improvement of what has been so reliable, even with all the 'exposure' out there. This is a timely and now as has been revealed, proven upgrade.

I humbly suggest that you first get your facts in place, or else you will make a fool of yourself. Hi Ustaad how about about a public apology for slating people when it has now turned out not only to be a great product but also been constructed using a formulation that no one has seen before instead of saying people publicly are fools . Was going to say lol but ho ho ho would suit this better as you love a little Santa emblem . I hope people on here now realise alll though you know a lot you don't know everything except unfortunately you think you do and you are also not big enough to apologiise for your inflammatory remarks . This puts a clearer picture on what you are really like a man with an often hidden agenda |
