Glad you are both happy. We do try to always make our customers happy, and when we make mistakes, we always correct them. We want many happy customers.
Videoman, send me a PM if you need to have your deck switched for the other color. If anyone else needs anything please let me know. Cole |

Got my ID deck. Took only a few times to get the touch. This is definately an improvement from the original IMO. Great release Devin!

I just saw this available on Lybrary.com as a PDF...at the bottom of the description it lists three different items that you could use in constructing your deck - I only have the pl**** d** - has anyone constructed their own deck? If so, what did you use and how does it work? I like making my own stuff and thought I would give it a try...
Thanks, Ryan |

I don't believe too many folks have made one from scratch yet.
I'd try your substance on maybe 20 old cards and that should give you enough of an idea on whether it suits you or not. The cost would be very minimal and at least you'd know. I've found that it is a bit of a personal feel to it when it comes to these types of things so what someone else prefers may not be your preference. |

Boy, this really disappointed me...the deck does not spread properly at all, it clumps together...yes, I've gone over the instructions, a few times.
Also disappointed in the fact that the math is not simplified in any way, like I thought it might be. |

How simpler can the maths get you are surely joking right ? 😊 it's adding 2 numbers to get 13 if I am not mistaken ?

If the math bothers you, check out Geoff Williams handling and set up of the invisible deck. You don't even have to think.

At least, that's what you can do with a regular ID, maybe someone else can say whether or not that is possible with this deck. For example, put the 6 of hearts and the 6 of diamonds back to back. You just need to figure out how you want to set the deck. The simplest way, although someone might actually notice, would be to have two suits on each side. So, you have the hearts and spades on one side, the clubs and diamonds on the other side. You know which side to have the deck facing when you pull it out, and then just look for the mate to show the upside down card. |

The next deck in this series with use NO MATH and will allow you to show the reversed different color back next to it's mate. All the suits will be seen not just two.

Statistically, 7% of all people will run out of things to complain about in their comfortable little lives that they will actually be disappointed in having to drudge through the difficulty of adding 2 numbers together without the invaluable aid of paper and pencil. God bless them & the sacrifices they make during the addition process in order to do a friggin card trick. Now if you will excuse me, I need to duct tape my head together before it explodes. M&S |

Actually, you don't add two numbers. You subtract one number from 13 to get the value of the key card. Simple enough. If you do the trick enough you don't have to subtract, you automatically know what card value goes with what.

Well, after all the waiting and anticipation I have to say that I don't care for this much at all.
Being able to show the backs is nice but really more of a magician thing, I don't think specs care. Plus, I found it kind of adds an extra beat to the effect that distracts from the effect IMO. But that part is a minor quibble because obviously you don't have to show the backs. Mainly I don't like the way it is made and the handling necessary to work it. I like the idea in general and applaud Devin for that, but the finished product is just not my cup of tea. I still much prefer my Mimesis fluid ID. But still curious about the next two decks in the trilogy so I'm not completely ruling those out at this point. |

I was wondering if the PDF at Lybrary.com is also included with the deck I ordered from Hocus Pocus. If I had known about this PDF I would have purchased that rather than ordering a deck, as I usually prefer to make my own props.
