Wan't there a group called The Turtles that had one big hit 60's?

Yup - The Turtles came from Turtle Creek, Pa - a suburb of Pittsburgh. One of their big hits was "Happy Together". Their were around in the late 60's early 70s.

I lived in Pittsburgh, went to Pitt and worked for Westinghouse Nuclear in Turtle Creek - they often showed up in our Caféteria.
