I used to live in Louisiana, spent many years attending the Mardi Gras and as a result used to own sacks and sacks of Mardi Gras Beads. At one point in time I was taught how to twist the beads into a little poodle. Naturally my interest in magic made me want to incorporate this into a trick.
I know from a brief search that I'm not the first person to think of this. The effect being a string of beads transforms into a bead doggy. I've already found a marketed item called "Doggy Do". I'm just wondering if there are any other credits out there to this effect? I haven't seen it in any other sources. I was thinking about publishing my handling but I don't want to step on any toes either. Anyone got any history on this effect? |
