Yesterday, I found a very strange bronze sculpture (circa 1900, zamak) It's not a flower vase.
My question is: are those dryads coming out of a tree or an ogre eating young infants. (I know, most of you like the second version better...) I welcome any idea and information about this sculpture.   |

Whatever it is, it's just delightful. The wonders of childhood whimsically displayed in bronze. It would go nicely on my 11 year old daughters desk. A reminder to always maintain that childlike innocence and joy.

Hmmmmm. I can't make up my mind, so just enjoying a bit of fence sitting, both sides. A lovely work.
