SAD night in Hamburg is for me the best purchase I made this year. So much practical material written in a way that reader immediatelly recognizes that it was written by a full-time working pro.

In regards to the interview section of the project, I'd really like this to be a different type of interview, moving away from the cliché questions.
What would you like to hear me talk about? I can't promise you will agree with everything I say, but I'll be honest and frank! Questions below please: 1. 2.

Questions:
1. What do you say when you initially approach people to introduce yourself before you begin your effect? 2. Do you ever say any disclaimers about the mental abilities that you are about to demonstrate? 3. What do you say, if anything, if someone says, "oh, that was just a trick"? 4. How many effects do you typically do in a walk around and/or sit down close-up performance and how do you chose them? Your project seems very interesting and I am sure it will turn out great. Hey Looch,
I already expressed my anticipation for yours, that is The Black Project and I'm certain, it's on top of my list for 2015. My questions/topics: 1. Which questions do you ask yourself to extract essential ideas, when you tap into your creativity to develope a new sequence/experiment? 2. What makes the difference between "amazing the participant" or "creating the effect, that something happened, that is beyond the participants beliefe system" regarding presentation? (3. What mindset do you have to stay in your "stage persona" especially when participants challenge you with e.g. assumption like "how this trick works"? 4. What do you perform for kid around the age of twelve (if not mentalism)?) May 2015 be one of the best years for all of you! Thomas |
