What's the best Reverse Matrix in your mind? Does anyone know some super visual ending for the Reverse Matrix routine? Any recommendation?

Hi Brian,
I had A 4 Card Backfire/Reverse ( IE. The 3 coins join the one, then The 4 coins went back to the 4 corners) In My Double Coin Gimmick Book. Also, A 2 card backfire/reverse And A 1 card backfire! So what are you interested in? Stop me when you see one you Like :)! Best David Neighbors The Coinjurer |

I've always loved Shoot Ogawa's version of the Reverse Matrix. Here is my take on it:

On the COINvention DVD, soon to be released, I have my best reverse matrix, that was originally intended to be a New Stars of Magic Series additon. It is extremely clean.
Along the same lines, I have another clean reverse matrix with 4 different coins. It is on my lecture tape and in my third set of notes.
S.E.M. (The Sun, the Moon, and the Earth) is a sun and moon routine unlike any other. Limited to 100 sets, here is the promo:

I have a very nice reverse for matrix routines and a very cool one for shadow coins....just play around with what you already know and come up with one yourself. It just takes time.

David Williamson's reverse matrix is a good one. It's in The Magic of Michael Ammar and one of his lecture notes.

I saw Dan Fleshman do a good one at his lecture. I think he said it was Jean Pierre Vallarino's (as Magitest mentioned). It uses four coins, and ONE card.........VERY visual. I love it.

Palms of Steel 3 has a great reverse matrix worth checking out, not to mention other great coin tricks and a great sandwhich card routine.

Dean Dill has alot of reverse matrix effects on his various videos/dvds. On his "Extreme Dean" DVD there are a few really good ones on the two volumes.

In "Coinmagic" (Kaufman) there are a couple versions: "See Saw Sembly" (4 card / 4 coin)and "Reversi" (2 card / 4 coin) Both are excellent. (The trick is finding a copy of that book)
I'll second the Dean Dill nod, he has some great methods as well. |

Jean Paul Vallerino's reverse matrix is quite nice, as others have said. I learned it from his Champagne Act video from L&L. Wasn't a fan of his regular matrix with one coin though.

Check out my new effect "As Good As It Gets" a gimmickles pencil or pen through bill effect. It closely mimmicks the slow motion phase of "Misled." About "As Good AS It Gets" for no gimmicks and everything being borrowed.

I third the Dean Dill suggestion...
Tonight Show matrix is a great routine. He has others as well... you can't beat Dean's video... http://www.deandill.com/
Mediocrity is greatly under rated!

Sorry, all the above mentioned names do not even come close to Armando Lucero's reverse matrix. His is the best on the planet . He does this effect while doing his Menagerie Coin Matrix

But if you say Armando Lucero's is even better, then please share with us where we can buy his methods. I'm really looking forward to dig into stronger coin magic than Dean Dill's. |
