Hi all,
My triple threat is having issues! The outer shell is fine, but the inner shell is locked and won't come off...like the shell was dropped and it was forced back in, which did not happen. I can rotated the coin with difficulty. Any hints for dislodging it? I will try Todd later, but I already have an email unanswered, so I thought I would try here.
Thanks for any input,
John

My plan is to call him later, but I have had numerous unreturned messages in the past, hence my efforts here.

The problem is I cannot even separate the inner shell and the coin. They are really stuck. Last time I used them they worked fine.

There might be a piece of dirt or something that's causing it to be stuck. Try some kind of sticky tac on both coins and see if you can pull them loose. You want to use something that will stick pretty good to the coins and yet you can remove it off without damaging the coins.

Ooooh...that is a good idea..something sticky on both sides. I will try that. I got ahold of Todd and he gave me a couple tips and offered to fix it if I just mail the set to him. I will do that if the sticky idea doesn't work.

He told me a funny story of someone who wanted (or did) put a CSB set in the the OVEN and baked the set because something was stuck. Yikes!

Thanks for the responses. You guys are great.

PS. He told me is is working on some Ultimate Wild Coins in the next month or so...starting saving up!

I use hot glue sticks to separate things. They provide long handles and pop off pretty easy after you succeed. Good luck, I know that panicy feeling.

Best thing to do is get a hard plastic cup... Not a solo cup.. Put the jammed shell in there and shake with you hand cupped over the top. It will release... Then use the handkerchief trick that David mentioned.

Todd then Gave me A set of the coins And ask Me If I could Come up with A Routine! I said " NO! You can't Expect Me to stop at one!" I gave him Back of a book of 18 or so Routines! Smile
