Hi there,

It seems that my review was removed, I changed it so that it doesn't expose any workings anymore.

I received my Wireless Wallet from Cobra Magic about 3 or 4 months ago. I choosed to wait and use it multiple times before actually reviewing it as with all my reviews, I think you can't give a fair one if you're not used to the prop and if you never used it.

Regarding the quality, it's not a true leather wallet, it looks like leather but it's a kind of top leather , a very sturdy one which will last you a lifetime. (Picture) The wallet is well built, the electronical part of it are well hidden and the fact you have an on/off switch allows you to save the battery which is a very important thing for me. Let's talk about the size, it's not a regular wallet, I mean, it's a lot bigger than an usual wallet. See the picture to get the idea. You could use it in a Close-Up situation but I think it is a little too big to carry around. However, this would fit perfectly my need (and have been fitting) for a parlour kind of show and of course on stage ! Everybody in the audience can see it so it is perfect for this kind of configuration.

The routines by Wayne Dobson which comes with it is well shot and gives you some ideas to begin with. I won't do the routines taught because they don't fit my style and I'm always concerned about the justification. Maybe it's my magician mind which overthinks but I find that if the routine has no sense, the impact of it will not be as strong as it could be if it would have been justified properly. The first thing which popped into my minds is that this wallet looks a lot like a restaurant menu holder. I developped a routine with some receipt of restaurant, pictures of meal and with 4/5 people on stage, and a proper patter, it works beautifully.

As for the electronical part of it, I never had a problem during a show of a non transmission or anything like that. I know some people are scared because electronic devices are not reliable but if you trust the maker, Cobra Magic, you shouldn't have a problem with the material.

Speaking about Cobra Magic, they have a very good customer service ! When I was having questions about the props, they were there to answer me and the shipping was quite fast. I spoke with the director of Cobra Magic and he decided to offer a 10% (for January 2015) off the Wireless Wallet just for you guys, which is a very nice touch. Here is the link where you can buy it http://www.cobramagic.com/wireless-wallet-10-off.html

I didn't speak about the price. It's not cheap, I won't lie. But considering the fact it is an electronic device, you may understand why it is that price. And I mean, if you use a prop you own, you don't mind paying it the right price since your shows will pay it. It's great to have a 5/10 minutes act ready to go packed into a wallet, it takes not a lot of space if you want to use it for stage, packs small plays big !

If you have any question just send me a message !

Thanks.

Shame it's just a stolen idea at a knock down price.

Looks more like a menu than a wallet.

yup, that's what I said in my French review, I adapted my routine so people think it's a menu.

Oh my bad! Just saw that line in your review. But yes that's about the only way I could justify it.

But I just don't really see the point of it. I don't think the effect is worth the price.

I wish they would come out with the wireless coin, which was supposed to be out in 2014, according to the trailer.
